The new 10,000 square foot building and associated site work for ULTA Beauty Store is constructed on an infill, vacant 1.026 net acre property located on a site that is designated as Regional Commercial (RC) on the City of Chico General Plan. The site design has the building placed close to the street in an effort to reinforce a pedestrian friendly environment and align with existing shade trees along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and the drive along the site’s southeastern edge that forms the landscape buffer along the existing pedestrian walkway.

The building is architecturally featured to ULTA’s preferred contemporary design with bright welcoming windows and sunny contrasting awnings designed at a pedestrian scale that adds visual interest with colors and materials that reinforce the overall design concept.
